The National Council of Medical Students of Spain (CEEM) is the organ which holds legitimate and only representation for Medicine students of the Spanish State and which is recognised as such by the national and international institutions we work with.

CEEM is organized as an assembly organ in which the Student Delegations and Councils of the Faculties of Medicine of the whole Stateparticipate. Thanks to the work of many students, CEEM is nowadays one of the strongest qualification representatives in our country. Thanks to that, the voice of the Medicine students counts on a legitimate spokesperson before the Administration and the different institutions.

We are living a time full of changes in Medical Education. Not only degree formation, but post-degree as well, are going to suffer a drastic change in the following years with the establishment of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the change of model in the specialized formation. In this situation is essential for students to able to count on a common platform that can represent us in a legitimate way.

From CEEM and the Delegations we want to assume this challenge, and for that we want to be able to count on all of you. Nevertheless, we are aware that an establishment of dynamic communication lines that allow a greater level of proximity between the Council and the students is needed. That is the principal aim of this website. We are going to have it upgraded with CEEM work’s results, just as with the news that affects us in a more relevant way. We invite you to visit regularly the site and also our different sections, and of course do not hesitate to make us know any suggestion or question that you might have.

Thank you very much for your collaboration. We are sure that with everybody’s help we can keep participating in the constant improvement of our formation, so that we can, in last term, guarantee the quality for sanitary attention that our Society requires.
